Blake David Moore (born June 22, 1980) is an American politician and former diplomat who serves as U.S. Representative for Utah’s 1st Congressional District since January 2021. A native of Ogden, Utah, Blake was raised with strong community and service values. He attended Ogden High School, won the Wendy’s National High School Heisman, and then served as a missionary in Seoul, South Korea. Blake earned a BA from University of Utah and a Master in Public Policy & Administration from Northwestern. Before politics, he worked as a Foreign Service Officer, then as a principal consultant in Cicero Group helping with strategy and social impact projects. Blake is known for advocating for fiscal responsibility, energy development, and supporting Utah’s defense infrastructure. In November 2023, he became Vice Chair of the House Republican Conference, the first Utahn to reach such a leadership role in either chamber.
