Sir Richard Starkey, a well-known musician, was born on 7 July 1940. Ringo Starr started his music career as a drummer for a local skiffle band called The Eddie Clayton Skiffle Group. Starr is asked to join The Beatles after the band's original drummer, Pete Best, is dismissed. Ringo Starr became an official member of the group in August and recorded his first single with them, "Love Me Do." In the year 2021, Starr releases his 20th solo studio album, "Zoom In," which includes collaborations with musicians such as Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl, and Finneas.

• 1960: Starr joins the band Rory Storm and the Hurricanes, replacing their previous drummer. He gained recognition for his energetic drumming style and became known as Ringo Starr.
