Mick Mars was born on May 4, 1951. Mötley Crüe, of which he is a co-founder and lead guitarist, is his most famous band. Bluesy riffs and aggressive solos are among his most renowned characteristics. Afterward, his family moved to Huntington, Indiana. Currently, Mars resides in Nashville, Tennessee. Emi Canyn (1954-2017) was his wife from 1990 to 1994. Former "Miss Zurich" has been his wife since 2013, over thirty-three years younger than he is. There are three children in Mars' family: Les Paul was born in 1971, Stormy was born in 1973, both from a previous relationship with Sharon Deal, and Erik was born in 1976 from a relationship with Marcia Tucker.
Mick Mars Career:
The 1970s: His first band was a Beatles cover group called The Jades, which he joined at fourteen years old before switching to guitar shortly after that. Zorky Charlemagne played guitar in many blues-based rock bands during the 1970s and occasionally worked menial jobs.
1980: His advertisement in the Los Angeles newspaper The Recycler described him as a "loud, rude, and aggressive guitar player." He was hired by Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee, who were creating Mötley Crüe.
2015: A solo album with former Mötley Crüe member John Corabi was announced in 2015, but it hasn't been heard since.
2019: Mick Mars released a new song, "The Way I'm Wired," with Black Smoke Trigger in November 2019. A song featuring Mars by Cory Marks, "Outlaws & Outsiders," was also a hit.
2022: Mötley Crüe announced on October 26, 2022, that Mars would be retiring from touring. He was replaced the following day by John 5. Def Leppard announced Mars' retirement from the band the same week, supporting his decision, with John 5 taking over for the 2023 world tour.
