Allah Rakha Rahman is a songwriter, film composer, singer, and record producer who mostly works in Indian (especially Hindi and Tamil) and occasionally overseas movies. Rahman debuted by writing music for documentaries and commercials and jingles for Indian television broadcasters. Rahman began piano lessons at the age of four. He played the keyboard in the studio with his father.
In 1995, Rahman married Saira Banu. The couple has three children, Rahima, Khatija, and Ameen.
Career
In 1992 – Rahman started his film career by opening Panchathan Record Inn, a recording and mixing studio in his backyard.
In 1995 – His brilliant soundtrack for the film "Muthu" gained him a Japanese following, and in the same year, Rahman debuted in the Bollywood film "Rangeela."
In 1997 – He worked on a non-film project and composed the song "Vande Mataram," which was released to celebrate India's 50th anniversary of independence.
