Neeta Lulla is an Indian costume and wardrobe stylist who has contributed to more than 300 movies. Since 1985, she has created bridal gowns. After Aishwarya Rai and Madhuri Dixit wore her creations in the ground-breaking Bollywood film Devdas (2002 Hindi film), her name became inextricably linked to Bollywood. Neeta Lulla was raised in Mumbai, India, and spent a lot of time in the city's Filmcity studio. She is currently wed to psychiatrist Dr. Shyam Lulla. She favoured participating in extracurricular activities than reading. Her father supported her participation in sports while her mother fretted about her grades.

Career:

In 1988: She was given the opportunity to create clothing for the Bollywood movie "Tamacha" by her brother-in-law, a producer.

In 1991: Lulla performed well in Tamacha, but her breakthrough came with the Bollywood film "Lamhe".

In 2002: She became extremely well-known after creating the looks for Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the movie "Devdas."

In 2014: She worked together with the Bollywood filmmaker Subhash Ghai to launch "The Whistling Wood International Neeta School of Fashion" in Mumbai.

In 2016: Lulla plans on trying her hand at Tollywood again with Gautamiputra Satakarni once she has completed the challenges of designing for Mohenjo Daro.

Achievements and Awards:

In 1991: She received the National Best Costume Design for the film Lamhe.

In 2002: Lulla was honored with the National Best Costume Design Award for the film Devdas.

In 2009: She was awarded the IIFA Best Costume Design Award.

Unknown Facts:

Among Indian fashion designers, Neeta is the only one to have won four national awards.

She also designed Bharti Singh's wedding outfits and reception outfits.
