Betsey Johnson is a well-known American fashion designer who is most renowned for her girly and whimsical styles. Her creations are frequently criticised for being showy and "over the top." She is famed for completing a cartwheel that ends in a split at the finale of her fashion shows. Johnson attended the Pratt Institute after completing her high school education, and she eventually earned a Phi Beta Kappa degree from Syracuse University while being a member of the women's sorority Alpha Xi Delta. Following graduation, she worked as an intern at Mademoiselle magazine for a summer under the guidance of Edie Locke.
