Meryl Davis, a former professional ice dancer from the United States, was born in Royal Oak, Michigan, on January 1, 1987. At the age of five, she began skating, and at eight, she teamed up with Charlie White. One of the most successful ice dance teams in history, Davis and White won six straight US National Championships in addition to the Olympic gold medal in 2014 and two World Championships.
