Emma Portner, a well-known Canadian dancer and choreographer, was born in Ottawa. Emma not only works as a collaborator with several well-known artists but also teaches at Intrigue Dance Convention, Peridance, and Broadway Dance Center. At the moment, she manages and administers her business, Emma Portner and Artists. Despite having studied ballet, Emma decided to focus on contemporary movements rather than the classical dance style.

Career:

Portner relocated to New York City in 2013 following her graduation from Canterbury to begin her study at The Ailey School.

Emma participated in the show RUBBERBANDance in 2014, surprising everyone with her raw talent and intensity. People like Anne Plamondon urged her to dance wildly and make it her career.

Portner breakthrough occurred after she met the dancer Matt Luck, who is based in Los Angeles, in 2012. The couple choreographed and appeared in the dance movie "Dancing in the Dark," which gained enormous popularity and drew in millions of people.

Achievements and Awards:

Emma received numerous offers and honours, and the American Dance Awards awarded her the Young Choreographer of the Year. The video for Justin Bieber's song "Life Is Worth Living," in which she co-starred with Patrick Cook, was her next major undertaking.

Portner received the Young Choreographer of the Year award from the American Dance Awards toward the conclusion of the year.
