Jack Patrick Dorsey, the founder of Twitter, was born on November 19, 1976. He is the former CEO of Twitter, Inc., as well as the co-founder, principal executive officer, and chairperson of Block, Inc., which developed the Square financial services platform, he is an American Internet entrepreneur and programmer. Twitter founder Dorsey co-founded Bluesky, which develops decentralized social networking protocols and apps.
Jack Dorsey Career:
The original Odeo project was co-founded by Noah Glass, Evan Williams, and Biz Stone and later renamed Obvious Corporation. Twitter, Inc. was spun off, and Dorsey became its Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Dorsey became board chairman on October 16, 2008, while Williams took over as CEO.
As of July 1, 2015, Costolo will resign as CEO. Costolo announced his resignation on June 10, 2015.
Using a mobile device, Dorsey and McKelvey developed Square, a platform for accepting debit and credit card payments.
