In addition to his over 50 novels and hundreds of short stories, American author Stephen King is one of the most popular contemporary horror, suspense, and science fiction authors. Undoubtedly the most loved horror writer, King is best known for his novel 'It', in which a maleficent terrorizes children. His writings have never failed to incite fear, terror, and fright in readers. He used to publish under the pseudonym 'Richard Bachman' when he published more under his real name.
Career:
In 1971, he began working at Hampden Academy as an English teacher.
It wasn't until 1974 that 'Carrie' became a reality. The story depicts the revenge of a teenage girl against those who humiliated her. A lot of people enjoyed the novel.
A young boy possessed with psychic abilities is the main character in 'The Shining', published in 1977.
There is a cemetery in his 1983 novel 'Pet Sematary' that has special powers to resurrect dead people who have been buried there.
