Chetan Bhagat is an Indian author, YouTuber, and columnist. In 2010 he was named one of the most influential people in the world by Time magazine. His father worked as an Indian Army lieutenant colonel and his mother as a scientist at New Delhi's Indian Agricultural Research Institute. He went to the Army Public School in Dhaula Kuan, and when he was 15 it came out that he was an average student. After school, he got a mechanical engineer degree from IIT Delhi and then a PGP from IIM Ahmedabad. He started his career as a financial advisor but quit after a few years to start writing full-time. He’s the author of ten novels and three nonfiction books.

In 2004 – The first novel Chetan published was titled "Five Point Someone."
In 2005 – In his second novel, "One Night @ the Call Center," Chetan achieved success.
In 2008 – Chetan published his third novel, "The 3 Mistakes of My Life," which sold five lakh copies in three months.
