Jyothika Saravanan is a Tamil film producer, model, and actress from India. She’s made appearances in films in Kannada, Hindi, Malayalam, and Telugu as well. For her work she’s received the Dinakaran Award four times, Filmfare Award three times, the Tamil Nadu State Film Award three times, and the National Award once. On top of all this she also received the Kalaimamani Award. In Tamil cinema she is one of their most productive actresses. The Times of India has her listed as one of South India's top actresses, while The Hindu refers to her as one of Indian Cinema’s Superstar Women.

In 1998: During her acting career, she first appeared in the Bollywood film Doli Saja Ke Rakhna.
In 1999: She appeared in the film Vaali for the first time in Tamil.
In 2003: She appeared in the financially successful films Kaakha Kaakha with Suriya, Dhool with Vikram, and Thirumalai with Vijay.
In 2005: She played the title role in Chandramukhi, her most successful Tamil film.
In 2018: In Mani Ratnam's movie Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, she played the prominent part of Chitra, a housewife to Arvind Swami's role.
