Ileana D'Cruz is a Portuguese-born actress and model who primarily works in Telugu and Hindi-language movies. D'Cruz, who was born in Mumbai, spent the most of her early years in Goa. In 2006, D'Cruz made her film debut in Telugu with the box office hit Devadasu, which also won her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debutant. Her successful films include Pokiri, Munna, Rakhi, Jalsa, Kick, and Julayi cemented her position as a leading actress in Telugu cinema. After winning the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut for her work in Anurag Basu's comedy-drama Barfi! in 2012, Cruz expanded to Hindi cinema.
