Ajay Singh Deol, also known as Sunny Deol, was a mega movie star. Born on October 19th, 1956 in India. Though he served in Parliament, movies were his true passion. Working as an actor, director, producer, and filmmaker. He was one of the top stars in the 80s and 90s with a reputation for being an angry action hero. His filmography includes blockbusters like Jeet, Ghayal, Damini, Ghatak, Border and Gadar: Ek Prem Katha.

Career:

In 1983: Deol made his debut in Betaab.

In 1989: As a result of Rajiv Rai's Tridev and Pankaj Parashar's ChaalBaaz, he had back-to-back hits.

In 2001: Anil Sharma's Gadar became his first big hit.

In 2010: His first release was Neeraj Pathak's crime thriller Right Yaaa Wrong, in which he played a police inspector.

In 1990: A sequel to Ghayal, which he directed in 1990, was released in 2016 as Ghayal Once Again.

On 23 April 2019: It was announced that Deol had joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). With a convincing victory over Sunil Jakhar in the 2019 Lok Sabha election, he won the Gurdaspur constituency
