Raju Srivastav is an Indian comedian who is well known for his observational humour. He was born Satyaprakash Srivastava. He is best recognised for his sharp observation and comedic timing of numerous facets of Indian culture. His father, Mr. Rameshchandra Srivastava, often known as Balai Kaka, is a very well-known poet. Raju, who had a talent for mimicry, had an ambition of being a comic since he was little. He used to mimic his teachers when he was in school. He first rose to fame by performing Amitabh Bachchan impressions. After arriving in Mumbai (then Bombay), he played a little part in the hugely successful Rajshri film Maine Pyar Kiya a few years later.

In 1988: Raju's acting career began with a little part in the Bollywood film Tezaab.
In 2005: Raju competed in “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge”
In 2009: He and his wife Sikha took part in the dancing reality competition Nach Baliye on Colors TV.
In 2014: Raju Srivastav then joined the Bharatiya Janata Party where Prime Minister Narendra Modi included him in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
In 2009: Raju took part in Big Boss 3 where he was eliminated after staying more than two months in the house.

Raju Srivastav was crowned "The King of Comedy" in Season 1 of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, which debuted in 2005.
