Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Jr., well-known as Jr NTR or Tarak, is an Indian actor, musician, and television host famous for his work in Telugu films. One of India's highest-paid cinema actors, Rama Rao Jr., has received numerous awards, including two Filmfare Awards, two Nandi Awards from the state, and four CineMAA Awards. In addition, he has been on Forbes India's Celebrity 100 list since 2012.

On 5 May 2011, Rao married Lakshmi Pranathi, the daughter of investor and businessman Narne Srinivasa Rao. at Hitex Exhibition Center, Madhapur in Hyderabad.

In 1991 – Rao made his acting debut as a child artist in the film "Brahmarshi Vishwamitra."

In 2002 – His film "Aadi" was one of the highest-grosser.

In 2003 – Rao appeared in two films, "Naaga" and "Simhadri." Simhadri was one of the year's highest-grossing Telugu films.
