In addition to being an actor and singer, Travolta is a producer. In addition to Grease, he appeared in Over Here on Broadway! As Vinnie Barbarino, he shot to stardom on Welcome Back Kotter and in The Boy in the Plastic Bubble, a critically acclaimed TV movie. After two consecutive box-office hits, Saturday Night Fever and Grease, he gained international fame. His career took a series of wrong turns, and he turned down numerous golden opportunities during the rest of the 1970s. In Look Who's Talking and its sequels, he starred in a not-so-serious but commercially successful film.
