Venkatesh Prabhu Kasthuri Raja, Popular as Dhanush, is a Tamil actor, producer, director, lyricist, and playback singer from India. Dhanush has won 13 SIIMA Awards, nine Vijay Awards, seven Filmfare Awards South, five Edison Awards, five Vikatan Awards, four National Film Awards (two as actor and two as producer), and a Filmfare Award for his performance in 46 films. In addition, he has appeared on the Forbes India Celebrity 100 list six times, based on Indian celebrities' earnings.

On 18 November 2004, Dhanush married Aishwarya Rajinikanth, the elder daughter of Rajinikanth. They have two sons, Linga and Yatra.
