Julia Fox was born in Italy on February 2, 1990. She is an American model, actress, and filmmaker. Fox made her debut in 2019 with the film Uncut Gems, for which she received a nomination at the 2019 Gotham awards. In addition, she has been named a modern bombshell by Vogue.
Education
Fox went to New York with her father when she was six years old and lived in Yorkville, Manhattan. She worked in an ice cream shop, shoe store, and a pastry shop, among other places. In addition, Fox worked as a dominatrix for six months while attending City-As-School High School.
Career
Before her work in Uncut Gems, with her friend Briana and lore, Fox worked as a fashion designer and co-founded the Francisca Fox women’s knitwear brand.
She also performed as a photographer, model, and painter for Playboy’s last bare edition in 2015. PTDS and Symptomatic of a Relationship Gone Bad: Heartburn/Nausea are two self-published photography books. In addition, Fox hosted a show called “R.I.P. Julia Fox” in 2017, which featured silk paintings painted with her blood.
Fox did make her feature film debut in the 2019 Safdie brothers film Uncut Gems. She played a mistress of Howard Ratner and showroom saleswoman, an unpredictable jewelry dealer, and a gambling addict role. Fox had known the Safdie brothers for almost a decade after meeting Josh Safdie by coincidence in a café in SoHo, Manhattan.
Personal Life
In November 2018, Fox married Peter Artemiev, a private pilot residing in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, but they later divorced. They shared a home in Manhattan’s Yorkville. Fox declared the birth of her son on February 14, 2021.
In an article she wrote for the “interview” in January 2022, Fox stated she was dating Kanye West.
