Gulzarilal Nanda was born in 1898. He was an economist and politician from India with a focus on labour issues. Following the passing of Jawaharlal Nehru in 1964 and Lal Bahadur Shastri in 1966, he served as India's Intervening time Prime Minister for two 13-day periods.
