Paul Ryan was born on January 29, 1970. After a failed run for the presidency with Mitt Romney and missing out on a chance to work with Joe Biden, he would later become the Speaker of the House of Representatives from 2015 to 2019. All this happened after being hired by his family's construction company in 1997 as a speechwriter, and then elected the following year to represent Wisconsin's first congressional district after a previous Republican left the position and ran for a Senate seat.
