James Hackett, a well-known American businessman, was born in Ohio. He served as Ford Motor Company's president and chief executive officer. Ford hired Mr. Hackett who has experience turning around a manufacturing company over many downturns and significant changes in the sector. Steelcase, a provider of office furniture with headquarters in Grand Rapids, employed Hackett for thirty years.

Career:
Beginning in 1981, James Hackett worked for Steelcase, a manufacturer of office furniture.
Hackett serves on a number of boards, including the one for Northwestern Mutual Life.
Before retiring in 2014, he worked in the role for over twenty years. During his leadership, the corporation downsized and reorganized the business, which resulted in the elimination of close to 12,000 people.
From 2014 to 2015, Hackett remained with the business as vice chairman.
In 2018: James Hackett received total remuneration of almost $16 million.
Hackett was a third-string center, and his major responsibility during practice was to go up against the starting defense.
