Samuel Robson Walton is an American entrepreneur. He’s known for being the heir to the Walmart fortune, one of the world’s largest retailers today. Sam was also a chairperson for Walmart from 1992 til 2015. Other than being rich and powerful in Walmart, he’s even more rich and powerful in the National Football League as the team owner of the Denver Broncos. According to recent calculations in March 2022, Walton has about billion to his name which placed him as the 18th richest person on earth. When he first started working though, it wasn’t at Walmart. Conner & Winters in Tulsa, Oklahoma is where he first went after getting his degree. However, in 1978 he moved away and left for Walmart where he became a senior vice president and eventually vice chairman back in 1982.
