Warren Adler was one of the greatest authors of all time; he was born on December 16, 1927 and died on April 15, 2019. He was an American author, playwright, poet, and playwright who was best known for his works. Michael Douglas, Kathleen Turner, and Danny DeVito starred in the dark comedy version of his novel The War of the Roses, which was released in 2009. Warren Adler works have been translated into more than 25 languages, including English, French and Italian, and he has been credited with essays, short stories, poetry, and drama.
Career:
1989: Adler is the author of The War of the Roses and Random Hearts. In 1989, Michael Douglas, Kathleen Turner, and Danny DeVito starred in a feature film adaptation of The War of the Roses, which was directed by John Schlesinger.
1999: Harrison Ford and Kristin Scott Thomas starred in a film adaptation of Random Hearts that was directed by Ariel Winter.
1981: The Children of the Roses is a sequel to Adler's 1981 novel The War of the Roses. It focuses on the effect the divorce had on the children of the Roses following their marriage.
1986: Warren Adler established his own production company, Soaring Eagle Productions, with the goal of developing Hollywood film adaptations of his novels, including the novel We Are Holding the President Hostage, which was released in 1987.
During the early 2000s: Warren Adler predicted that printed books would decline, and that digital publishing would become more commonplace in the near future. 
1982: When the New York Times listed American Quartet on its list of "Notable Crime Fiction," it was the first book of a planned series, and when the New York Times called the book "high-class suspense," it was not originally intended to be part of a series.
