Ratan Naval Tata was born in Bombay, presently Mumbai, on 28 December 1937. He is an Indian industrialist, philanthropist, and chairman of Tata Sons and Tata Group (from 1990 to 2012). He is the receiver of two of the highest civilian awards of India, The Padma Vibhushan (2008) and Padma Bhushan (2000). Ratan Tata was the adopted son of Jamsetji Tata, the founder of the house of Tata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Education<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n He completed his schooling at the Campion School, Mumbai, and Bishop Cotton School in Shimla, and in 1955, graduated from New York City’s Riverdale Country School. He returned to India because of a family problem, but the girl’s parents didn’t permit her to come with Tata.
